Transport psychology examination of drivers

We are an approved accredited workplace for professional drivers and for those who have had all of their permissible points penalties.

The time for completion of psychological tests varies depending on each client but it usually takes around 1.5 hours. The transport psychology examination is made up of an introductory interview, diagnostic equipment and common psycho-diagnostic tests, which are aimed mainly to examine the correctness and speed of driver responses. During the transport psychology examination of drivers, their ability to concentrate their attention and their personality structure are also observed.   

The transport psychology examination is carried out on a PC, which allows the results to be evaluated immediately after the examination has been finished. The psychological tests are not oriented towards looking for pathology, their aim is rather to find out the "fitness" of the driver. Only the assessed driver and a transport psychologist are present at the transport psychology examination. All information, including the results attained, is confidential. The transport psychologist is bound by secrecy, just like a doctor.

When are psychological tests obligatory?

Transport psychology examinations of drivers, also called 'psychological tests', must be undergone by drivers of buses or freight vehicles weighing over 7.5t. They apply to the following driver's licence groups: C, C+E, C1+E, D, D+E, D1 and D1+E.

The examination has to be passed before a driver begins his/her work, then just before turning 50 years old, and then every subsequent 5 years.

Price: CZK 1,800. You have to bring a statement from the driver's card for examination.

Transport psychology examination for drivers who have had all their permissible points penalties and drivers who have had their driver's licence taken away

Price: CZK 1,800. A statement from the driver's card or a ruling on removal of driver's licence must be brought to the examination.

Transport psychology examination for senior drivers

Price: CZK 1,800. A statement from the driver's card has to be brought to the examination.
